The company currently serve industry-leading merchants in 6 continents and used by hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin users.
BitPay stated :
Bitcoin’s future looks very bright, and we plan on remaining on the forefront of this technology, creating more tools and services for everyone to use in innovative new ways.
Although no date has been given for launch of the service, AT&T have provided some details of how it will work. Like traditional payment options, users will be able to select ‘BitPay’ as a drop-down payment option when they log in to their accounts or through the myAT&T App.
Vice President of AT&T Communications Finance Business Operations, Kevin McDorman said ‘We’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services. We have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer.’
