Establishment of Crypto AML & Anti-Terror Financing Regulations Soon by G20

On June 8 & 9, G20 meeting will be held in Fukouka, Japan. Member countries will meet to discuss International Cryptocurrency Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulation.

It was also reported by local news outlet Kyodo that the G20 central bank governors & finance authorities will take part in the meeting.

This event’s main agenda is to combat terror financing and virtual currency enabled money laundering. The report also states that prime focus is anti-anonymity and with the co-operation of participating countries, an agreement over new regulations is expected during this meeting.
